If someone were to ask me what was my least favorite part of shooting a wedding, I would have to say the family pictures after the ceremony. Mostly because it has to be done in a very short amount of time and there are a TON of people I need to organize and they are ready to party!!! :D You'd think with this being said, and add in the fact that it was a DOWNPOUR, my answer would be the same for Jesse + Mikie's wedding. But I dare say, nay! It actually was one of my favorite parts of their wedding! Yes, we got through the ceremony and all of the really important photos without rain, they were willing to try anything I asked them to do, and we got some awesome shots that day! But my favorite part of their wedding was taking the family photos! Why you ask? Well, most of the time a bride and groom is anxious to get to the reception and wants to rush through the family photos. But this time, as I took a shot of each grouping they requested, Mikie would squeeze and kiss Jesse. Lean her over and hug her, whisper in her ear! He couldn't keep his hands off her!!! :D It was SO adorable and quite rare at this time actually. I LOVE LOVE, so this is why the family photos were my favorite part of their wedding. Take note, because it will probably be the last time I say that! :D
