Christy and Doug are like old friends.  Really I just met them a couple of years ago and shot their wedding in Rome last year.  But I've also worked with Christy at the WK Tech Conferenct earlier this year and they live only minutes from my house and even invited me to their Halloween party!  The minute we first met I felt like we were friends.  It's always a pleasure working with clients/friends like this!!! :D

Magazine Cover | Chateau Elan Wedding Photography

I was SO excited when Collyn and Nick's wedding at Chateau Elan was nominated to be a finalist for the cover of Points North Magazine!  They have posted the photo on FB and are asking people to vote for the best image for the cover. This session was super fun, and editing it was kind of strange...Why?  Because these kids look like they could be mine! Even my 2 year old said "Look Mommy!  It's my sister!"  Hahaha.  Well, I guess now I know if I had a son, what he'd look like! :D  These kids were awesome! 

  

One Shot Wonder For Your Weekend

So I froze my tail off last night hoping to get a cool shot of the Leonid meteor shower, but just ended up playing hide and seek.  Everytime I changed my shot, a shooting star would go across the sky somewhere else. It was fun seeing them, but I only got this pretty shot of the Milky Way! :D

I always love it SO much when I have a bride and groom come back to me again and again for family pictures! I shot Amanda and Matt's wedding in 2009 and she's come back to me each year for her family photos.  I love it.... and I LOVE his HAIR!!! :D

Mini Sessions are a great way to get squeezed in for a photo shoot with me and you save some dough at the same time.  I will be limiting mini sessions to only Fall and possibly Spring sessions. Also, I will be limiting family, children, and baby portrait sessions to two a month in 2012.  So, if you know you want a session, be sure to book it early! :D
