Brookies Four Year Session | Children Portrait Photographer Paulding County, GA

Brooke turned four last week and I was waiting for a good day to take her photos! Lucky for us it was 70 degrees yesterday! :D  YAY!  So I took her downtown to shoot... then the sun came out! OMG!  I'm so lucky!  Great weather and an adroable little girl! We had so much fun and her session only took about 20 minutes!! I love short sessions.... and ice cream after!1 :D HAHAH!

Bridesmaids!

The bridal party just makes the wedding day super fun, but there WAS a purpose in history for this girl power bridal party!!!  Traditionally a bride had lots of bridesmaids who were dressed like her to fool evil spirits and confuse them as to who’s special day it was.  They were also used to confuse any jealous  ex-boyfriends from bothering  the bride on her wedding day. And current MOH’s, traditionally it was the Maid of Honor’s job to make nearly all of the wedding decorations and put them up all by herself!  Aren’t we glad times have changed!

Anytime I recieve a call from a husband for a family photo session I know something is up! :D  Dink asked me to schedule a family portrait session as a surprise for his wife. Awwwww. It was SO sweet! I love it when a husband is so thoughtful to think about something his wife wants.... even when he doesn't particularly like getting his picture taken! :D Great job Dink! You just scored some major husband points!!!

Happy Birthday Brooke!!!

Today is Brooke's 4th Birthday!!! We started the day with Georgia Bulldog Birthday cake for breakfast and some photoshop fun.... and the day has just begun!  (Hey! That rhymes! :D)  HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROOKIE!!!!

Imaging USA Atlanta

 Had an amazing experience at the photography convention and I learned SO much! I always love learning and trying to become a better photographer! I love what I do and absolutely LOVE learning more and more!

Getting to see award winning photographer Jerry Gihones was awesome enough, but then I was asked to bring my scarf onstage for a demo! I was SOOOOO excited! He's such a rockstar!!!

I also got to meet and chat with Robert Evans!  He photographed weddings for Tom + Katie, Brad + Jennifer, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton and MORE!!!

The classes were amazing and we got to shoot some pretty cool stuff!

Catching up with some of my JPG friends was the highlight of the convention for me!  

I spent most of the convention with my friend Coco!  We had a blast! :D
