I was so excited when Kelley asked me to shoot her family photo for her Christmas card in a cotton field this year! Last year they cut the cotton field the weekend before our session. This year they planted beans in that field. We found another cotton field, but when I went to do some location scouting... they were harvesting all of the cotton!!! We were so nervous the cotton was going to be gone that we changed the session to early in the morning that week... then it started to rain! It looked like we were against all odds, but this girl was determined to get those cotton field family portraits... and we did!! Even got Boone to smile for a couple of photos! :D
