Vegas Runway with Nigel Barker!

Okay, if going to Las Vegas for a week isn't enough.... If getting to go to the WPPI convention isn't enough.... If hearing Nigel Barker speak about photography isn't enough!!!!!  I got to get my photo with him! It was a mob, but lucky for me I was in the front of the mob, right next to him.  I even tried to help the Sony people control the crowd, so they let me be one of the first to get a photo with him!  Yipeeee!.... I'm such a dork!  :D

Vegas Baby!!!!

I'm SOOOO excited to be going to Las Vegas for the WPPI convention!  This will be my first time at the convention, but not my first time in Vegas. BUT, it WILL be my first time I'm in Vegas as a photographer, so I'm excited to get the juices flowing with tons of ideas for the blog! :D  I'll have tons of One Shot Wonders and a couple of Vblogs.  I'm not bringing my laptop with me, so if my posts are few and far between, just know I'm thinking of you and really excited to show you all of my photos!!!  

Just for fun, I'm posting this photo of me and my friends at the CNN Christmas party! Closest thing I could think of to post for a fun time!!! :D

Married: Betsy & Ryan

Sometimes I worry about a wedding in the middle of Winter.  The weather is totally unpredictable, it's usually too cold to go outside for photos, there's no leaves on the tress, it get's dark early in the day... I could go on, but I won't.  :D  But when it came time for Betsy and Ryan's wedding last week, it just couldn't have gotten any better. It was a tiny bit chilly, but that didn't stop them from going outside just for a few wonderful shots.  And the inside of the church was just so gorgeous that we didn't even need to spend that much time outside.  It really was a perfect day from the photographer's point of view! :D Thanks guy's, for inviting me to your celebration!!!

PMP Vblog!

I'm SUPER excited to post the first video blog from Paris Mountain Photography!! :D Whoo hoooo!  I feel kinda awkward in front of the camera because I've always been behind it, but I thought it would be something new and fun to try.  Let's see if it lasts! :D  Thanks for watching!!!

SPRING MINI SESSIONS!

I will be shooting half hour sessions on March 12th from 9am-4:30pm at Berry College in Rome for $100.  This includes online proofing, two 8x10s and two 5x7s.  The CD is also available for $107.  Contact me to book your slot!  They go very quickly and the next mini sessions will not be until Fall so book early! :D 

Art Show!

 One of Hannah's drawings was displayed at the Dallas Civic Center this week!  We made a special "Gallery" trip to view her masterpiece!!  She's got some serious artistic skills! :D

I love the snow! I really do!  I know everyone is getting tired of the weather lately, but I love the snow.... so that's why I'm kinda bummed about the weather too, because it's SO COLD... but no snow.  Just this, icy, slick, wet, messy, rain that covers everything... including my satellite dish! :D  Good thing my internet works! :D  Ice, Ice, Baby!!!

I just got an e-mail today telling me I won the "Best of Atlanta Bridal 2010" award!  I didn't even know about it, so I'm totally stoked about winning.  I only have 6 dates left for 2011, so please book soon! :D 



Candice & Israel's E-Session : Rome, GA Photographer

 Candice contacted me over a month ago to schedule her E-session and I've been taking some time off, so I was SUPER excited to get back in the game to shoot their photos!  And how lucky am I that they are both gorgeous!  WOW! 


And I have to say.... I don't know what kind of connections they have, but it was almost 70 degrees that day.... the best day of the year so far!  I don't know if I'd call that luck, but I do know I'm staying on their good side! :D
