I should have waited till tomorrow to post another photo shoot... BUT I COULDN'T WAIT!!!! The dream team hit this one out of the park!! With an amazing look styled by Kelley McIntosh Garner, hair and makeup with A Glamour Affair: Session Stylists, Nisha and Kristin. AMAZING florals with Gail from A Perfect Wedding Floral Design and OMG! That cake!!! I never dreamed a cake could be so cool by Kate with Honeymoon Bakery. Our amazing models were Jake and Allison and we couldn't have picked anyone any better for this!!! For real, this is a group effort, and everyone busted their tails to make this one happen and I think it really REALLY paid off!!!! I couldn't be any happier with the results!!! Thanks SO much to Indigo Falls Events for letting us shoot our Carousel Inspiration shoot at their amazing venue!!! GO DREAM TEAM!!!! :D

Lauren + Casey got married!!! | Biltmore Ballrooms Wedding | Georgian Terrace Wedding | Atlanta Wedding Venue

I was SO thrilled when Lauren and Casey contacted me to shoot their wedding at the Biltmore Ballrooms in Atlanta! They found my info on the Biltmore Ballroom's preferred vendor list! YAY!!!  After shooting their engagement session in Augusta I knew we were a great match!  Lauren got ready at the Georgian Terrace Hotel nearby and it was the perfect setting for her detail photos! A photographer's dream!!  They were such a sweet couple and totally in love! I love when a bride and groom cant keep their hands off each other at the reception!!  I truly had a wonderful time and I'm SO lucky to have an amazing canvas to work with on this wedding!!!  Cheers!

The Wedding Veil Tradition | Wedding Veil History | Atlanta Wedding Veil

The bridal veil is a tradition that goes back to ancient Greece where it was worn to ward off evil.  More commonly it’s known for symbolizing virginity, modesty and youth.  Nowadays the veil is nothing more than a fabulous accessory to make the bride look gorgeous!  And surprisingly I’d say less than half of my brides last year even wore a veil!  I’m a fan of birdcage veils, but most brides like to wear fingertip length. The longest known veil in history was Star Jones’ from the View who’s cathedral veil was 27 feet long, two feet longer than Princess Diana’s!  My favorite veil in film was Maria’s in The Sound of Music!
