Introducing Jack Forkner! Hello world!!!

I don't shoot maternity or newborn photos anymore, but when my BFF Jarett told me she was having a baby... I had to come out of newborn retirement to take baby Jack's photos! I was at her house for 6 hours! There was lots of picture taking, lots of food, and lots of chatting!!!

PMP 2012 Year in Review!!!

After shooting over 100 sessions and 20 weddings this year it was SOOOO hard to pick out my favorite images/moments of 2012! I struggled to narrow it down and still had to leave out SO many awesome photos!  I truly enjoy my job and love that I get to work with totally fabulous people every single day! I really hope 2013 will be just as awesome as 2012!!!

Hillary breathed a sigh of relief when I announced a few months ago that I'm no longer shooting newborn photos.  She booked me to shoot her maternity and newborn photos just a few weeks before my announcement! :D  So, here she is. Little Canaan was one of the sweetest little babies I've ever shot!  I mean it when I say that if every newborn session went as smoothly as this one, I'd shoot babies every day!! :D Thanks SO much, Hillary, for giving me the opportunity to share this special milestone with your family.... AND making my last newborn session a wonderful one! :D

I've been trying to decide for about a year now and finally have made the decision that I will not be taking on any new session for Maternity and Newborn photos. I've actually had three requests this week and referred them elsewhere. I'm so blessed that weddings and senior portraits fill up my schedule, but unfortunately I'm unable to take the time to spend with those precious little bundles! I love your babies, but I have three babies at home who need me too! :D  Note:  I am still shooting babies (6mo and older) and families on a limited basis.
