The Four Seasons!

I just like saying those words! I'm actually shooting a technical conference at the Four Seaons all week!  It's been very interesting and fun shooting, but I'm also learning a TON!! :D Haha!  I should be taking notes!

E-Session at Barnsley Gardens

I was already booked for Brooke's wedding, so I was super flattered when she still wanted me to shoot her engagement photos.  Their wedding is at Barnsley Gardens so that's where we shot their session.  It's the perfect backdrop for great engagement shots! I really loved working with these two!!! :D  And, I can't wait to see how their wedding photos turn out with one of my Kiss The Bride Associate Photographers! :D

I was offered a complimentary full page ad in an Atlanta Magazine, so I decided to pull out one of my favorite shots from my most recent wedding!  It reminds me of ZZ Top's song "She's got legs!"  What a great song... what an awesome photo!!!! :D

6 degrees of of Kevin Bacon!

Starts with me!!!! It was so much fun today in Cedartown.  I went to the set of  "Jayne Mansfield's Car."  It's directed and Produced by Billy Bob Thornton, Starring Robert Duvall , Kevin Bacon, Dennis Quaid, Ray Stevenson. The Movie is projected to be released in 2013.  I wanted to chat with the set photographer to "talk shop," but the police made me stay back with all of the other sightseers.  Then a stroke of good luck!  Kevin Bacon walked around the corner and the crowd went wild.... so what did I do?  I just walked right down main street onto the set and found the set photographer.  After some crowd control things settled down and there I was on the set with all of the cast and crew, just hangin' out!! :D  I really enjoyed talking with the set photographer who gave me some awesome tips!  Yeah.... I'm not afraid of puttin' it all out there! :D   What fun!

I'm SO proud to annouce Sam and Greg's wedding with Kiss The Bride Associate Photographer Katie was featured in My Bella Wedding's Magazine!  Not only did it get just a few photos, but SIX... count them!  A six page feature!!! :D  Wow!  Great job Katie!!! :D 

From Practial to Fabulous!!!

My dear sweet husband got me the best gift I could have ever gotten about 4 years ago.  A new black multipurpose camera bag!  I was previously using an igloo cooler as a camera bag.... no kidding!  Practical, yes.  Functional, yes.  But 4 years later and 100 weddings later I decided to turn "practial" into "FABULOUS!!!" 

As a birthday present to myself I ordered a Kelly Moore designer camera bag about three months ago.  And it came just in time!!!  Mark didn't think I could fit both of my DSLR's, lenses, flashes and everything else I had stuffed in my old bag into my super duper fashion bag.... but it did..... and with flaire.... style..... CLASS!!!!!  Can you tell I'm a bit excited about it. 

So, now when I go to my photo sessions and weddings, I won't feel so much like a pack mule, but more like a DIVA!!!! :D

Learning of one's self!

You know when you hated guacamole all your life or at least thought you did until one day you tried it without knowing and it was like you're a different person all of a sudden? Well... that's what it was like when I opened my birthday present from Mom today got THIS baby!!! :D

I NEVER cared about name brands, but ohlala!  I felt like a different person when I strutted around my kitchen with it on my shoulder.  I don't even use a purse!   BUT I DO NOW!!!! :D  

Hmmmm... maybe I can use it as a diaper bag..... good idea! :D

Superficial? Yes.....but FABULOUS? YES!!!

100th Wedding!!!!

Yay! I just celebrated my 100th wedding today with Lindsay and Brandon!  What a great party for my celebration!  Just kidding, but it was a kickin' reception!!!    As a thank you gift, I gave the awesome couple a gift basket  with all sorts of fun stuff like an iTunes gift card and a 24x30 canvas gallery wrap! I can't wait to see which photo they choose to use! :D 

Keri + Adam = Married!

The wedding day was such a breeze!  Everything and everyone was calm as could be and it almost made me wonder how everything could be going so well.  Even when it started to sprinkle right before Keri walked down the isle, it seemed like each and every guest was along for the ride.  I have my umbrella strapped on my hip...just in case, but it really only sprinkled a little bit.  We had just enough time for the formals, and off to reception.  Seriously, if every wedding went like this, I could do them every day of the week! :D

I was SO excited when I got an e-mail from Atlanta Weddings Magazine that they posted one of my engagement sessions on their Facebook page!  I immediately went on and tagged the couple and myself of course!! Whooo HOOOO! 

Good Times with the kids!

We love camping!  It's an annual event every summer to go up to Wildcat Creek to camp out, go trout fishing, and go down the freezing water on slide rock!  The kids love it. This was Brook's first year going and she loved the fishies!  The only almost tragedy is I walked into the Soque river to fish with my Blackberry in my pocket!!!! Luckily I got it out and after about 4 days in the sun it dried out and is good as new!! WHEW!!!!  We also enjoyed the Atlanta Aquarium.  We go there about once a year also and again, Brooke's first time. She loved touching the "sea M&Ms" and watching the penguins tickle each other!  It was a great time!! :D
