Easter Mini Session Part VII | Paulding County GA Photographer | Atlanta Photographer

Melanie and her family drove about one and a half hours to come to my mini sessions in Dallas, GA!  Then when she got there we shot for about ten minutes and it started to rain! I felt so bad for her and her trek all the way out to see me.  We waited it out and luckily it stopped long enough to get a few more shots of her cuties and a few family photos as well.  All in all, I hope it was worth the trip/gas money!!! :D

Yay for little boys!  Ever since I was young I always wanted a little baby boy.  Their cute little-man clothes and rugged attitudes in a tiny boy body!  I grew up with two sisters and no boys around.  Then when I got married and decided to start a family....I was blessed with three daughters!!!! :D  I love my princesses, and at least I get to take pictues of those cute little men!! :D

After the rainstorm passed Saturday, we got back to work with our fifth mini session!  I was happy to see Gretchen's kids again after shooting them just a couple of years ago! I love to see how much they have grown......even taller than me!!! :D

The Rakestraws | Dallas, GA Family Portraits | Paulding County GA Photographer

Mini sessions are easy enough.  Twenty minutes in and out. I just snap away and catch those awesome moments,and kids and daddy's attention span are in check! ;D  My session with the Rakestraw's last week in Dallas went as smoothly as that.  It's funny how sometimes, like when you're waiting in line at McDonalds to get your fries, it seems like forever. And other times, like my session with Morgan's family, twenty minutes seems to go by in a flash! I guess time does fly when you're having fun.....and taking pictures! :D

Georgia Aquarium Adventure!

We were so fortunate to have the opportunity to get to go spend the night at the GA aquarium and see some behind the scenes awesomeness!  The girls absolutely loved it and frankly I couldn't just let them go on their own!!! I HAD to go too!! :D  It was so cool to see what they scientists do behind the scenes at the Georgia Aquarium!  They do so much more than just show off their fish! :D  It was such a fun time and I got some really neat photos too! :D

I did my best to try to make all of my sessions look different seeing as I had NINE sessions in one day and in one location.  I think I mixed it up a bit, and thanks to Vicky, we had a beautiful little girl and a parasol to add in the mix! :D

Springtime always reminds me of daffodils and tulips, bunnies and chicks, Easter and sweet warm breezy days.  I was so happy to get to try to capture my favorite things in this years Easter Mini Sessions! :D  And I had two great little gentlemen to help me with it! :D

The first of nine mini sessions from last Saturday!  It was such a wonderful day.  Even with two rain storms and six animals the photos were a huge success!  All of the children were wonderful.  Including my assistant animal handler, Hannah! :D  This session was even more special because they were family! :D In fact the first three sessions were family, so it started the day off stress free! Happy Spring!!
