Autumn + Bryan got married!!! | Cave Spring, GA Wedding

Autumn and Bryan asked me to shoot their wedding in Cave Spring at the Hearn Academy! I was so happy to get to shoot there again. It's such a lovely place with such a lovely couple.  My favorite thing about their wedding... other than this super sweet couple..... her SHOES!!!! OMG!  They were fabulous!!!! But those fantastic heels were worn just right! She wore boots most of this muddy, rainy day, then put those fabulous heels for the ceremony!!!!  It's like Autumn took the words right off the pages of my magazine about wedding shoes!!!    Here's more:

Paris Mountain Weddings Magazine:
The important thing to picking out the right shoe is mostly comfort.   Brides don’t realize they will be on their feet for at least 8-10 hours that day.  A glamorous high heel looks fabulous, but after about an hour of pictures and the ceremony her feet are already very unhappy.  Flats, flip flops and boots are a great choice for outdoor weddings in grassy areas so the wedding party isn’t aerating the lawn with their heels.  It’s much easier to get around and your toes will thank you!  If you insist on the six inch heels remember to break them in for a few weeks before the wedding so you know how they will feel on your wedding day.  Or, only wear them for the pictures and ceremony, but bring a change of shoes for the rest of the day to rest those tosies.   Another smart idea for heels is to get heel caps so they don’t sink into the grass or sand.
Remember that every part of your wedding wardrobe is important including the shoes, but remember most of the day no one will even know if you have shoes on!  So be beautiful, but also be practical.  And get something really fabulous so you can save them to wear at a cocktail party or another event so they don’t collect dust!  :D
