Second Shooter

I usually downplay the need for a second shooter. I've been shooting weddings for 7 years and only used an official second shooter about 4 times or so. Getting the shot is super important to me, but it's not impossible to do it on your own, and it saves my clients the cost of hiring another photographer.

With that being said!!!!  My assistant/12 year old daughter shoots weddings with me and I LOVE bringing her along.  She is a wonderful assistant, it's great for girl bonding time, and just about every wedding she gets a jem of a shot like this one!!! Two weeks ago while I was shooting a single of the bride on the left, she got a different angle with the groom in the background on the right! WHAAAAT!!!  Her shot is WAY better than mine!! :D Way to go Hannah!  Soon, she will have to take over the family biz! HAHA!
