Georgia Aquarium Adventure!

We were so fortunate to have the opportunity to get to go spend the night at the GA aquarium and see some behind the scenes awesomeness!  The girls absolutely loved it and frankly I couldn't just let them go on their own!!! I HAD to go too!! :D  It was so cool to see what they scientists do behind the scenes at the Georgia Aquarium!  They do so much more than just show off their fish! :D  It was such a fun time and I got some really neat photos too! :D 

Easter Mini Session Part III

I did my best to try to make all of my sessions look different seeing as I had NINE sessions in one day and in one location.  I think I mixed it up a bit, and thanks to Vicky, we had a beautiful little girl and a parasol to add in the mix! :D

Springtime always reminds me of daffodils and tulips, bunnies and chicks, Easter and sweet warm breezy days.  I was so happy to get to try to capture my favorite things in this years Easter Mini Sessions! :D  And I had two great little gentlemen to help me with it! :D

The first of nine mini sessions from last Saturday!  It was such a wonderful day.  Even with two rain storms and six animals the photos were a huge success!  All of the children were wonderful.  Including my assistant animal handler, Hannah! :D  This session was even more special because they were family! :D In fact the first three sessions were family, so it started the day off stress free! Happy Spring!!

I've known Nikole forever it seems like! Her mom is my neighbor and I've loved shooting their family photos!  So when she told me she's getting married this fall I was super excited she asked me to shoot her wedding! :D  Their engagement session was off the charts awesome! I love days when the weather is perfect, the setting is gorgeous, the sun is glowing and the couple is just charged up with some great chemistry.  I hardly have to do anything but click a button!! :D Luck for me it was one of those days!!!

It's so funny that I just posted that I won't be shooting maternity and newborn photos and in the same week I shot a 1 year session and a newborn session. The fact is, even though I booked these sessions over two months ago, I just love babies! Especially toddlers!  I will still be avaialble for baby sessions from 6 months (sitting up) and older, but on a limited basis.  I have just stopped shooting maternity and newborns.  With that being said.... I could shoot about ten sessions like the one I had with the Winters'!  They were wonderful!  The session was just gorgeous and it reminded me how much I really do love babies!!! :D

I've been trying to decide for about a year now and finally have made the decision that I will not be taking on any new session for Maternity and Newborn photos. I've actually had three requests this week and referred them elsewhere. I'm so blessed that weddings and senior portraits fill up my schedule, but unfortunately I'm unable to take the time to spend with those precious little bundles! I love your babies, but I have three babies at home who need me too! :D  Note:  I am still shooting babies (6mo and older) and families on a limited basis.
