Finding a location for engagement sessions is always a thoughtful process.  Where to shoot a session really depends on the couple.  Some like a more city/urban backdrop. Some couples like the country look.  Either way,  the backdrop should be a good one, but what's the most important is the couple being comfortable in the situation, in their wardrobe and with each other.  Lucky for me Jessica and Tommy are all three! I knew that when I first met them at my bridal show!  They had such great chemistry!  The session was full of snuggles and giggles... the perfect recipe for awesome pictures!!! :D

I'm SO excited to post my last wedding of 2013!! WHOOOO HOOOO!!! What's even better is that it was awesome!  Amber and Stan were a wonderful couple to work with and their families were even awesome-er!!!!  I'm such a lucky gal to get to do what I love with people I love!

New York City Wedding Photographer | Wedding in NYC | Central Park wedding

I was just reminiscing the yesterday and looked at the wedding I shot in NYC a couple of years ago. We shot their first look in Grand Central Station, took a walk over to the New York Public Library, and ended up in Central Park for their ceremony.  Their reception was at Morans in Chelsea, and at the end of the night we headed over to Times Square for some last minute wedding photos!  What a great day that was and how lucky I was to get to shoot their wedding! I LOVE looking back on good times and felt like I had to share!!!

Cotton Field sessions are all the rage now!  Lucky for me I had an awesome couple in 2010, pre-Pinterest, who came up with the idea for their engagement session!  Way to be trend setters Kendal!!! :D  Here's some images from their session THREE YEARS AGO!!! :D

Someone just tagged me in this on Facebook.... SO SWEET!!!!! I hope I wasn't yelling at my kids or in sweatpants with no makeup! HAHAHAH!!! 

I love to take pictures and Pam Jones, of Paris Mountain Photography, is my idol. She is on my FB but doesn't know me. I added her so I could stalk her photos and dream of one day being half as good as she is. I also saw her a few weeks ago at Walmart. Yes, I was the nut who stood in the parking lot with my mouth hanging open and the star struck look on my face!
