Jones' Summer Trip 2012 Part II

We were SO lucky to find a guest house on a horse ranch in Montana. They only had three nights available and it was the nights we needed!

Our guest house was perfect!  There was a master bedroom, and a loft bedroom for the girls.  They loved it so much that Emily cried all day when we had to leave.

They had horses, cats and chickens on the ranch.  Brooke's favorite thing to do every morning was to check the chicken coop for eggs.

The very last morning we had enough eggs to make scrambled egss for breakfast.  Brooke was very proud of her eggs.

Before breakfast and after dinner every evening we went looking around the mountains for bears.  We didn't see any bears, but there were plenty of antelope, deer and tons of cows and horses.

While looking for a bear we spotted these deer running through the field.  They stopped near the road and seemed to pose for pictures.  It was very exciting!

Mark's favorite thing about our guest house on the ranch was the Yellowstone river.  It ran right next to the house.  We were told that it has the best trout fishing in the entire world!

Mark got to spend an entire day fishing along the river.  He had the best time!  He caught a ton of fish and we even took the girls.   We had trout for breakfast on our last day at the ranch!
